The table below suggests appropriate D&D 5e Cleric Domains and related class options for each deity. These are recommendations, not restrictions—a DM may allow any reasonable domain for a deity if the player’s concept supports it. Subclass suggestions beyond Cleric are also included where a deity has a strong thematic connection to another class.
| Deity | Cleric Domains | Other Class Options |
|---|---|---|
| Chakrus | Grave, Death | Undead Warlock (reluctant pact), Phantom Rogue, Long Death Monk |
| Xathys | Life, Nature | Celestial Warlock, Redemption Paladin, Shepherd Druid |
| Sarus | Light, Order | Devotion Paladin, Crown Paladin, Divine Soul Sorcerer |
| Amera | Tempest, War | Storm Sorcerer, Tempest Cleric/Barbarian multiclass |
| Shatarr | War, Forge | Glory Paladin, Battle Master Fighter, Zealot Barbarian |
| Uvian | Twilight, Arcana | Archfey Warlock, Divination Wizard, Stars Druid |
| Inasis | Trickery | Wild Magic Sorcerer, Trickster Rogue, Chaos-themed Bard |
| Bezarin | Forge, Knowledge | Artificer (any), Creation Bard, Glamour Bard |
| Yara | Peace, Life | Redemption Paladin, Glamour Bard, Enchantment Wizard |
| Caros | Knowledge, Arcana | Scribes Wizard, Inquisitive Rogue, Lore Bard |
| Zirnex | Tempest, Nature | Fathomless Warlock, Coast Druid, Storm Herald Barbarian |
| Omaris | Nature, Life | Land Druid, Ranger (any), Ancients Paladin |
These suggestions assume D&D 5th Edition and 5.5e subclass options. DMs using older or third-party material should map domains based on thematic resonance with each deity’s thread and domain descriptions.
DM Truth: The Gods’ Current State
The Twelve are not dead, but they are diminished. After the Divine War, they withdrew behind the Veil not by choice but from exhaustion. For a thousand years they have been recovering, and it is unclear whether they have fully regained their strength. The Glowstone reactivation suggests something is stirring in the Divine Weave, but whether the gods are awakening, weakening further, or responding to an external threat is left deliberately open.
The threads themselves may still vibrate in certain places—divine harmonics that grant boons, awaken relics, or warp magic. Severing, entwining, or mimicking a divine thread is theoretically possible through extremely powerful rituals, though it risks awakening divine wrath or destabilizing the Loom further.
Finally, the source material hints at a deeper secret: there may have been threads spun before the Twelve—prototypes, failed gods, or forgotten threads that the Loom discarded. If remnants of these proto-divine entities still exist in the Fray or the Forgotten Archive, they represent threats that even the Twelve may not be equipped to face.
