Eldenwood

Nestled between the Ironbound North and the Leafsong Meadows, Eldenwood is a region where nature and magic exist in seamless union. The ancient forests here are dense, old, and saturated with a magical energy that is not hostile but is unmistakably present—a subtle hum that visiting mages describe as being immersed in a conversation you can feel but not quite hear. Eldenwood’s climate is transitional: misty and cool in the north, gentler and warmer as it approaches the eastern meadowlands.

Zumora

An elven city of extraordinary beauty, Zumora is interwoven with the forest itself—buildings grow from living wood, bridges arc between ancient trees, and the boundary between architecture and nature is deliberately impossible to find. Zumora is home to the prestigious Elven Wizarding School, one of the foremost magical academies on either continent. The school specializes in elven magical traditions, natural magics, and the study of the relationship between the arcane and the living world.

Oleus Valxido, the Elder Sage of Conjuration, serves as head of the wizarding school. The city’s economy is built on magical artifact trade, potion brewing, and education—students travel from across Voxana to study here. An annual magical fair showcases new spells and artifacts, and a moonlit dance celebrating elven traditions draws visitors from across Osan.

Bloomridge

A settlement south of Zumora, Bloomridge is famous for its vineyards and lush floral landscapes. Where Zumora is magical and academic, Bloomridge is sensory and agricultural—fields of cultivated flowers stretch to the horizon, and the local wine is considered among the finest on Osan. Bloomridge serves as the entry point for most travelers approaching Zumora from the south or east.

Geographical Features

The Eldenwood Forest. An ancient woodland of dense canopy and deep roots, home to magical flora and fauna found nowhere else on the continent. The forest has an ambient magical energy that scholars believe predates the Split. Rare herbs and alchemical ingredients grow here, making it a destination for potion brewers and researchers.

Lakeview Ruins. Remnants of a pre-Split settlement on the edge of the forest, partially reclaimed by vegetation. The ruins are architecturally distinct from both elven and human construction, suggesting a culture that no longer exists. Scholars from Zumora have studied the site for decades without reaching consensus on its origins.

Adventure Hooks: Eldenwood

A student at Zumora’s wizarding school has vanished into the deep forest after attempting a summoning ritual that went wrong. The school wants the student recovered quietly—whatever came through the summoning is still out there.

The Lakeview Ruins have begun to glow. Faintly, intermittently, and in a pattern that matches no known magical signature. The timing coincides with the Glowstone reactivation, but the ruins contain no Glowstone.

A delegation from Bloomridge has arrived in Zumora claiming that their vineyards are producing wine that causes prophetic dreams. The vintners are terrified. The school is fascinated.
