Voxana uses a thirteen-month calendar of twenty-eight days each, totaling three hundred and sixty-four days per year. Each month spans exactly four seven-day weeks. The calendar is shared across both continents and predates the Split. The year begins with Frostfall and ends with Loomtide—a month dedicated not to any god but to the Loom itself. Years are counted from the Split: PS (Post-Split). The current year is approximately 1000 PS.

Loomtide holds special significance across both continents. It is the month when temples of all gods hold joint services, when old grievances are formally put to rest, and when the Firefly Brigade traditionally reviews the year’s expeditions and records. In many communities, the final night of Loomtide is celebrated with lantern releases, symbolizing threads being returned to the Loom.
Days of the Week
The seven-day week is universal across both continents, but the day names have not yet been canonized. This is a development opportunity: day names could reflect the gods, the Loom, seasonal cycles, or practical function (market day, rest day, etc.). Four weeks per month, thirteen months per year, 364 days total.
Dating Convention
Years are counted from the Split, abbreviated PS (Post-Split). The current year is approximately 1000 PS. Events before the Split are dated BS (Before Split) in scholarly texts, though such references are rare—most pre-Split records were destroyed in the cataclysm.
